Does Shreddybed blow around the yard like paper?

Shreddybed is much tidier in your yard than paper bedding; it is a more substantial product which is comparable to shavings as a bedding system.  It also doesn’t cling to animals like other bedding products

What animals is Shreddybed suitable for?

How long does it take to bio-degrade?

Shreddybed, is made from cardboard and so bio-degrades very quickly, keeping muck heaps down to a minimium.

How does Shreddybed promote healthy animals?

Shreddybed is dust extracted during the manufacturing process and is free from fungal spores; both of which can cause respiratory problems in animals and their carers.  In addition Shreddybed is anti-clinging and so will not attach to wounds or cuts.

Is Shreddybed absorbent?

Shreddybed is highly absorbent; cardboard bedding has been found to be 5 times more absorbent than shavings, 2 times more than hemp and 6 times more than straw.   Urine soaks straight through and absorbs from the bottom up, keeping your animals dry and comfortable.  To ensure the maximum absorbency ensure you begin with a generously thick bed.

Is Shreddybed suitable for outside storage?

Yes; Shreddybed comes in plastic wrapping which is heat sealed to make it suitable for outside storage.  You may find that a tarpaulin placed over the bedding will help to ensure your bedding is kept dry until you need it.  Pallets can be provided shrink wrapped to enable tidy, waterproof storage.
